We were due to exhibit at the Scottish Skipper Expo 2020 this past weekend at P&J Live, however due to the current circumstances this has been moved to a new date in November. We may not have had the opportunity to meet the attendees at our stand (yet!), however we want to take the opportunity to highlight the services we provide for our Fishing & Seafood industry clients.

Another successful EN1090 audit has been achieved by our steel team. We are delighted with the feedback from the BBA. Credit to Robert Smart and the rest of the team for outstanding efforts on this.

Crane Training Completion

Crane Training Completion

The postie brought more good news than bills today (hooray)! Training certs for Bruce Smart and Kenny Robertson arrived after their completion of crane related training earlier this year. NPORS - C401 Appointed Person for Kenny and NPORS - C405 Crane Supervisor and C101A Mobile Crane Operator for Bruce. This calls for another socially distant handshake of congratulations! FASET Safety Net Rigger Training

A few weeks ago, Craig Duncan travelled to London to undertake his FASET Safety Net Rigger training. He has been enjoying working as part of the safety team for some time now, assisting Mark Lamont with the installation of edge protection and safety nets. Each job is different and requires problem solving skills, which plays to Craig's strengths. Not able to do so in person, here is a 'socially distant' handshake moment between Craig and Kenny, in recognition of this achievement ?

External staircase detailed, manufactured and installed at Blackhillock Substation. For this scope, we were asked to tie in to an existing staircase landing; install a new landing, stairs and handrail system; then remove the existing staircase and handrails. This was to allow an escape route from the building to be kept in operation during the changeover.
