S2 pupils from Peterhead, Ellon, Turriff and Mintlaw joined together at North East Scotland College Fraserburgh Campus (Nescol) today to compete in the regional Build Your Future challenge. It was a different kind of day for our apprentice, Ryan, who returned to the classroom for the first time in quite a long time
KR Group hosted a steel construction and cladding challenge and the young people were first class. Great to see so many girls involved too.

We are pleased to announce a new working relationship with Unger Steel in Austria. KR Steel are undertaking an Aberdeen based contract for Unger, starting soon. After concluding the paperwork at Unger’s HQ in Oberwart yesterday, we were taken on a guided tour of their extensive steel fabrication and painting facility. Thank you to staff at Unger for their hospitality.

We took on this challenging contract recently in Aberdeenshire. The old, collapsing roof was removed, and replaced with a new, upgraded structure. Doors and surrounding cladding will be fitted to complete this project, smartening up the building so it can be fully used again. Check back in a few days for images of the completed project.

Works is processing on site at the Anaerobic Digestion Plant which forms part of the overall new TECA development in Aberdeen.
We are providing structual steel and cladding works on this multi-million pound project for main contractor Thoni. Our site teams are currently working on the admin building erection, which commenced yesterday.
